Description: The term Leukemia refers to cancers of the white blood cells, which are also referred to as leukocytes or WBCs. Leukemia is also known as Blood Cancer, Acute lymphocytic leukemia, Chronic myelogenous leukemia, Hairy cell leukemia and Acute lymphocytic leukemia. When a child has leukemia, large numbers of abnormal white blood cells are produced in the bone marrow. As Leukemia progresses, the cancer interferes with the body's production of other types of blood cells, including red blood cells and platelets. This results in anemia (low numbers of red cells) and bleeding problems, in addition to the increased risk of infection caused by white cell abnormalities. The antimutagenic and anticarcinogenic potential of Bhuamalaki is beneficial in the treatment of Leukemia. Bhuamalaki is a herb which has been used in Ayurvedic Medicine for over 2,000 years. The other names of Bhuamalaki are Phyllanthus amarus, Bhuy amalaki, Niruri, bhuiamla, bahupatra, Bhuiavala, Bhulamla and Bhumyaamlaki.

Directions For Use: Boil 10 to 15 Bhuamalaki leaves in a cup of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink the extracts twice daily for 6 months for the treatment of Leukemia.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Bhuamalaki, hence it is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Leukemia.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen. Hence Bhuamalaki is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Leukemia.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Leukemia are resolved in 6 months of the treatment with Bhuamalaki leaves.
