Description: Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system. Lymphoma, like other cancers, is a disease of the body's cells. Cells in different parts of the body work in different ways, but they all repair and reproduce themselves in the same way. Normally, cells divide in the body in an orderly and controlled manner. However, if for some reason the process gets out of control the cells carry on dividing. In lymphoma, a lump or tumour forms in one or more groups of lymph nodes. There are two main types of Lymphoma:
1. Hodgkin lymphoma (formerly known as Hodgkin’s disease)
2. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (formerly known as Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma)
The anticarcinogenic and chemopreventive action of chemicals obtained from licorice root is beneficial in inhibiting the growth of cancerous cells. The Licorice plants are shrubs also called, Liquorice Root, Radix Glycyrrhizae Lacris, Reglisse, Lacrisse, Regolizia, Gan Cao and Guo Lao.

Directions For Use: Powder some Licorice root. Take 1 tsp of this powder in a cup of water and boil. Strain, filter and cool it. Drink this solution once daily for about of 5 months for the treatment of Lymphoma.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Licorice root; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using it in the treatment of Lymphoma.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Licorice in the treatment of Lymphoma.
