Description: Otitis Media is a disease of the ears, which is caused by fungal or bacterial infection of the middle ear. The symptoms are aggravated by wax deposition. Otitis Media is also known as Labyrinthitis and Inner Ear Infection. Jungle Geranium leaves are as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there is no any side effects associated with it in treating Otitis media. Jungle Geranium is also known as Ixora coccinea, Flame of the Woods and Jungle Flame.
Directions For Use: A powder is formed with dried leaves of Jungle Geranium. Now 1 tsp of this powder is boiled for about 10 minutes in 1 and a 1/2 cup of water. Cool it and filter. Drink this tea thrice daily for 4 days for the treatment of Otitis media.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Jungle Geranium in the treatment of Otitis media.
Side Effects: None are seen. As Jungle Geranium is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Otitis media.
Expected Results: The symptoms of Otitis media have shown to be resolved in 4 days of the treatment with Jungle Geranium.
