Specific Conditions Treated: Ovarian Cancer

Ingredients Used: Hsiang ju

Description: Cancer in Ovarian is also known as Ovarian Cancer and Cancer in Ovary. Cancer that forms in tissues of the ovary (one of a pair of female reproductive glands in which the ova, or eggs, are formed). Most Cancer in Ovarian are either ovarian epithelial carcinomas (cancer that begins in the cells on the surface of the ovary) or malignant germ cell tumors (cancer that begins in egg cells). Free radicals have been indicted as the primary cause of various malignancies. The content of flavonoids in the the extract from Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot extracts was significant. The extract of Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot showed that the antioxidant activity was almost two times higher than other commonly used antioxidants like Selenium and vitamin E. Some extracts of Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot showed long lasting radical scavenging activity and the EPR spectra were recorded in time to follow the reaction kinetics. Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot extracts can be used with confidence to treat Ovarian Cancer along with other conventional treatments with chemotherapeutic agents.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 gms of Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoots in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink the Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot extracts twice daily for six months. A significant improvement in the prognosis of Ovarian Cancer was seen in six months of treatment with Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot extracts.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with this Hsiang ju or Glossogyne tenuifolia aerial shoot extracts; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment for Ovarian Cancer.
