Description: Pharyngitis is an infective disease caused by the Inflammation of the Tonsils characterized by Sore Throat and is seen mostly in small children and infants. A collection of pus that requires surgical drainage, or pocket of pus, that forms around a tonsil is also known as Quinsy.
