Description: Pharyngitis is inflammation of the back of the throat. This results in a sore throat, which is discomfort, pain, or scratchiness in the throat. Pharyngitis is also known as Sore Throat, Tonsillitis, Quinsy and Inflammation of the Tonsils. Swallowing can be mildly painful as well. Sore throats, which are often caused by an infection, are very common, especially in children. Certain viruses or bacteria can infect your throat and cause it to swell. You can catch such organisms through direct contact with someone who has one of these infections. They are passed via nasal secretions and saliva. Viruses that cause pharyngitis include the common cold, the flu, and mononucleosis (often called "mono"). Bacteria like Group A streptococcus (commonly known as strep throat) can also cause pharyngitis. Alangium flowers are very effective in resolving the symptoms of bacterial infections. Alangium flowers extracts are a natural substitute for conventional antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin, Azithromycin, or Roxithromycin. Herbal treatments are devoid of any side-effects like gastric irritation or change in the intestinal flora.

Directions For Use: Crush 2 flowers of Alangium herb into a fine paste. Boil it in a cup of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extracts, thrice daily for a week. The infectious state associated with Pharyngitis are resolved in a week.
