The uterus of a woman is in its proper place, as the muscles, tissue, and ligaments hold it by providing proper support. The cases in which Prolapse of Uterus occurs, in them the muscles holding the uterus becomes so weak that they are not able to hold the uterus in its place and uterus slips down from its normal place, this condition is known as Prolapse of Uterus. The muscles becomes weak due to difficult and more pressurized labor. It is more common in elderly women, and women who have 1 or more children. The prolapse occurs in 3 stages-
1. 1st degree- In this the uterus slides down into the vagina.
2. 2nd degree- In this the uterus touches to the vaginal opening.
3. 3rd degree- In this entire uterus comes outside the vagina.
