Description: Psoriasis is a non contagious skin disorder that most commonly appears as inflamed, edematous skin lesions covered with a silvery white scale. Psoriasis typically occurs on the knees, elbows, and scalp and can also affect the torso, palms, and soles of the feet. When psoriasis develops, patches of skin thicken, redden, and become covered with silvery scales. These patches are sometimes referred to as plaques. They may itch or burn. Coconut Oil provides a soothing effect on the affected area and improves the symptoms of psoriasis.
Directions For Use: Apply Coconut Oil to the affected area with the help of a cotton swab 2-3 times a day for 10 days for treating Psoriasis.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. As Coconut Oil is medicinally safe and well tolerated for treating Psoriasis.

I have scalp Psoriasis. Coconut oil is not a cure but has worked the best for me. At bedtime, I apply the coconut oil on my scalp then cover with a plastic hair net and wear overnight. One or two nights will clear my scalp completely.
Unfortunately, it only last for 1-2 weeks.
