Description: Raspberry leaves is a rich source of calcium and Vitamin C. Raspberry leaf extract has been used very effectively to treat Gynecological disorders like eclampsia. Raspberry is very effective in supplementing the calcium requirements of the expectant mother giving relief from seizures associated with eclampsia. Raspberry is also a very good uterine tonic. Steep the raspberry leaves in boiled water for 10 to 15 minutes to make a tea. Drink the tea at least twice a day during labor. The symptoms of eclamsia are resolved. Raspberry leaves can be used fresh or dried in herbal and medicinal teas. They have an astringent flavour, and in herbal medicine are reputed to be effective in regulating menses.
