Description: Properties (characteristics):

sweet, salty﹐ warm。

Channels (meridians) entered:

large intestine, kidney

Actions & Indications﹕

for impotence: due to shenyangxu (kidney yang deficient) condition

for constipation: due to qixu (qi deficient) or blood deficient

for infertility

for excessive uterine bleeding

for yeast infection from cold deficient womb

for high blood pressure

for bleeding of the kidneys and/or bladder

for inflammation of the kidneys

Chemical ingredients:

It contains several types of iridoids. cistamin, cistachlorine, cistanosides A, B,C,D,E,F,G, D-mannose, β-Sitostero, succinic acid、β-Sitosterol-glucoside, H, I cistanosides H, I, decaffeoylacteoside.

Dosage:

9 to 21 g

Cautions:

not to use in case of diarrhea due to pixu (spleen deficient) .

not to use in patient with heat sign.
