Also called: Cicatrix, Keloid scar

Scars, Cicatrix or Keloid scar are formed after a cut, scrape, burn, sore, surgery, chicken pox, or acne. The appearance of the Scars depends upon the wound, its depth, size, and the time taken to heal. Scars can fade with time but they do not go away completely.
