Description: Sinus Infection, or sinusitis refers to inflammation of the sinuses that occurs with a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection. The sinuses are air-filled spaces in the skull (behind the forehead, nasal bones, cheeks, and eyes) that are lined with mucus membranes. Healthy sinuses contain no bacteria or other organisms and are open, allowing mucus to drain and air to circulate. When inflamed, the sinuses become blocked with mucus and can become infected. The aerial parts of Goldenrod (Solidago microglossa) are as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there is no any side effects associated with Goldenrod, it is completely safe in treating Sinus Infection. Goldenrod is also known as Solidago sp., Aaron's rod, European goldenrod and Solidago virgaurea.

Directions For Use: Make a powder of the aerial parts of Goldenrod. This powder is boiled in a cup of of water for about 10 min. Then strain and cool it. Drink this tea thrice daily for 4 days for the treatment of Sinus Infection.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Hence Goldenrod is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Sinus Infection.
