Ingredients Used: Santa Maria

Description: A Sinus Infection or Sinusitis is typically a secondary bacterial infection which arises when a cold or the flu compromises the immune system. Other problems like excessive irritation of the sinuses from smoking or extremely dry air, allergic reactions, and even fungal infections may lead to an infection of the sinuses as well. Santa Maria leaves and roots were as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. Santa Maria works in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs do; therefore is used to treat Sinus Infection. Also there is no any side effects associated with Santa Maria. Hence Santa Maria is called as a natural alternative to above mentioned antibiotic drugs available over the counter. Santa Maria is also known as teitai, Feta'u, Bintangor tree, Poon tree, Guanandi, Jacareuba, Calophyllum or Alexandrian Laurel.

Directions For Use: A powder is prepared with leaves and roots of Santa Maria. One teaspoon of this powder is then boiled in a cup of of water for about 10 min. Then strain and cool it. Drink this tea thrice daily for 3 days. The antibacterial property of leaves and roots will come in the tea, thus treats the disease.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Santa Maria roots and leaves extract to treat

Side Effects: None are seen with Santa Maria roots and leaves extract.
