Description: Sinusitis is an inflammation of one or more of the nasal sinuses, hollow cavities within the cheek bones found around the eyes and behind the nose. Sinusitis also known as sinus infection. Infection with viruses or bacteria can cause sinusitis. Also, someone with a cold also has inflammation of the sinuses called as viral sinusitis. In sinusitis there is a stuffy or runny nose with a daytime cough that lasts for 10 to 14 days or longer and a headache while waking up in the morning or bending over. Antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties of Eyebright herb makes it an effective herb in treating sinusitis. Eyebright is also known as Euphrasia, Euphrasia officinali and Euphrasy herb.
Directions For Use: Soak 4gm of dried Eyebright herb in a a cup of water for 10 minutes. Boil it. Strain and cool. Drink this tea once daily for a month for the treatment of Sinusitis.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Eyebright in the treatment of Sinusitis.
Side Effects: No side effects are seen. As Eyebright is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Sinusitis.
Expected Results: The symptoms of Sinusitis are reduced in 1 month of the treatment with Eyebright.
