Ingredients Used: Bridelia

Description: Gum swelling is quite common and may involve one or many papillae (the triangular-shaped bits of gum between adjacent teeth).
Occasionally, the gums swell significantly, obscuring the teeth altogether.

Common Causes:

* Infection by a virus or fungus
* Gingivitis
* Poorly fitting dentures
* Sensitivity to toothpaste or mouthwash
* Side effect of a drug such as Dilantin or phenobarbital
* Malnutrition

The stem bark extract of Bridelia scleroneura have been used in conventional medicine to treat a variety of diseases. The mature fresh leaves of Bridelia scleroneura possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. Hence, these extracts are accepted option to commonly used anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive drugs like Aceclofenac, Serratiopeptidase, Nimusulide, Combiflam, Diclofenac and Ibuprofen etc. Bridelia scleroneura stem bark extract can be used with assurance for cure of inflammatory and painful conditions associated with Swollen gums.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of stem bark of Bridelia scleroneura in a cup of water for at least 10 minutes to allow complete extraction of the active components. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract, twice daily for 1 week. Apply some of this extract locally also to get quick results.
