Description: Tennis Elbow is the most common injury in sportsmen or people engaged in hard labor. Tennis Elbow is precipitated due to small tears of the tendons that attach forearm muscles to the arm bone at the elbow joint. Tennis Elbow is also known as Lateral Epicondylitis of Humerus, Plasterer's Elbow, Mechanic's Elbow and Painter's Elbow. The symptoms of Tennis Elbow are Pain when lifting objects, Pain radiating down the forearm etc. Guava leaf possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic action and is a natural alternative to pain killers such as Ibuprofen brands available in the market like (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin and Medipren). There is no any side effect associated with Guava leaf also. Guava is known as Amrood, guayabo, guyava, goyavier, kuawa and Psidium guajava.

Directions For Use: Boil 10 to 15 leaves of Guava in a cup of water for 20 minutes. Strain and drink the extracts thrice daily for 3 months. The pain and inflammation associated with Tennis Elbow are resolved in a month and complete cure is effected in 3 months of the treatment.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Guava leaves; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using it in the treatment of Tennis Elbow.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Guava leaves in the treatment of Tennis Elbow.
