Conditions Treated: Cancer

Specific Conditions Treated: Testicular Cancer

Ingredients Used: Serviceberry

Description: Testicular Cancer occurs in the testicles (testes), which are located inside the scrotum, a loose bag of skin underneath the penis. The testicles produce male sex hormones and sperm for reproduction. Compared with other types of cancer, Testicular Cancer is rare. The most common symptom is swelling in part of one testicle. This is usually painless, but some men may notice an ache in their lower abdomen or in the affected testicle. There may be a feeling of heaviness in the scrotum. In a few men the testicle suddenly becomes swollen and very tender. Serviceberry possesses antioxidant capacity and anti-proliferative activity which helps in preventing metastasis of cancer. Also through induction of apoptosis and cell cycle arrest action it inhibits the growth of carcinogenic cells, hence treats Testicular Cancer. Serviceberry is also known as shadbush, sarvis, sarviceberry, Saskatoon serviceberry, Juneberry, pigeon berry, mespilus and currant tree.
