Create a new Treatment using this IngredientDescription: Tomato paste is made from ripened tomatoes. Before tomatoes are made into a thick paste, their skin and seeds removed. Sometimes salt and preservatives are added but many authentic recipies for tomato pasta include only the tomato pulp. Generally Tomato paste has almost no water contents. Usually Tomato paste is not used on its own but for the production of other foods, such as ketchup, tomato juice, or pizza sauces. Tomato paste consists of tomatoes that have been cooked for several hours and reduced to a thick, red concentrate before being strained.
