Ingredients Used: Dianthus caryophyllus

Description: Tonsilitis or Quinsy or Pharyngitis or Sore Throat is an infective disease caused by the Inflammation of the Tonsils characterized by Sore Throat and is seen mostly in small children and infants. Tonsilitis or Pharyngitis is caused by the bacterium known as streptococcus. The tonsils and adenoids are structures at the back of the throat. Tonsils trap the germs and protect our body from harmful pathogens. Sometimes your tonsils and adenoids become infected themselves. Tonsillitis makes your tonsils sore and swollen or in other words causes the Inflammation of the Tonsils. The first treatment for infected tonsils and adenoids is antibiotics. If you have frequent infections or trouble breathing, you may need surgery. Surgery to remove the tonsils is tonsillectomy. Surgery to remove adenoids is adenoidectomy. A collection of pus that requires surgical drainage, or pocket of pus, that forms around a tonsil is also known as Quinsy. Dianthus caryophyllus flower buds extract is a natural alternative for commonly used anti-biotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Roxithromycin and Penicillin derivatives. Dianthus caryophyllus flower buds extract is devoid of the usual side effects associated with conventional anti-biotics like gastric irritation and resistance. Dianthus caryophyllus flower buds extract can be used with confidence to treat Tonsilitis.

Directions For Use: Boil 1 or 2 finely pulverized Dianthus caryophyllus flower buds in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Tonsilitis are resolved in a week of treatment with Dianthus caryophyllus flower buds extracts.
