Description: Vertigo is an abnormal sensation that let you feel as if you or your environment is spinning, tilting, rocking, moving or revolving. Vertigo is caused by the disturbance in the balance organs in the inner ear. Vertigo is a type of dizziness. Patient feels nausea, vomiting or can have ringing in their ears. Most of the times if the diagonal muscle (Sternocleidomastoid muscle SCM) on the front of neck is tight due to exertion or stress while experiencing vertigo. Massaging the SCM will work immediately and dizziness is relieved. In some of the cases vertigo went away completely by by Massaging the Sternocleidomastoid muscle.
Directions For Use: Symptoms of Virtigo like dizziness, lightheadedness, faintness, and unsteadiness is resolved with Sternocleidomastoid muscle Massage. Whenever the patient feels dizziness due to vertigo, immediately massage the diagonal muscle (Sternocleidomastoid muscle SCM) on the front of neck.
Not To Use With: No specific precautions need to be followed while doing Sternocleidomastoid muscle Massage.
Side Effects: No side effects are seen.
