Description: Shigellosis or Bacillary dysentery is a water-borne disease and is caused by the Shigella bacteria. The bacteria enter the body through contaminated food or water. The bacteria produce toxins which attack the delicate lining of the intestine. It can cause ulcers in the intestine and also give rise to bloody diarrhea fever and colic pain. Contamination of water sources usually due to bad sanitary habits are the usual cause of waterborne–Shigellosis. Bacillary dysentery is highly contagious and can be spread very easily by means of food or water. This means that waterborne–shigellosis can spread easily among family members, schools, infant care centers, nursing homes and other institution. Shigellosis can affect any age group but it is more commonly seen in children. Amoora rohituka bark extract is a natural alternative for commonly used anti-biotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Roxithromycin and Penicillin derivatives. Amoora rohituka bark extract is devoid of the usual side effects associated with conventional anti-biotics like gastric irritation and resistance. Amoora rohituka bark extract can be used with confidence to treat Shigellosis.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms finely pulverized Amoora rohituka bark in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Shigellosis are resolved in a week of treatment with Amoora rohituka bark extracts.
