Conditions Treated: Musculoskeletal

Specific Conditions Treated: Wryneck

Ingredients Used: Abuta

Description: A wry neck is a relatively common condition characterized by sudden onset pain and stiffness in the neck or upper back. The injury originates from damage and subsequent 'locking' of one of the facet joints of the neck and results in a noticeable limitation of movement and postural deformity. Abuta or Cissampelos pareira root extracts have been used in traditional folk medicine to treat numerous diseases. Abuta or Cissampelos pareira root extracts are a natural alternative to commonly used anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs like Serratiopeptidase, Combiflam, and Ibuprofen etc. Abuta or Cissampelos pareira root extract can be used with confidence for treating wry neck.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of root of Abuta or Cissampelos pareira in a cup of water for at least 30 minutes to allow complete extraction of the active components. Strain and drink 20 ml of this extract, twice daily for two weeks. Also local application of this extract can bring the results earlier.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Abuta or Cissampelos pareira extracts are as effective and much safer as compared with other anti-inflammatory and analgesics used in the treatment of wry neck.

Side Effects: None are seen. Abuta or Cissampelos pareira extracts can be used with full confidence for the treatment of wry neck.

Expected Results: The symptoms of wry neck are resolved in ten days of treatment with Abuta or Cissampelos pareira root extracts.

Expected Results Within: 10 days
